You can now post assignments, announcements, & questions to individual students, or selected groups of students. No longer does each post need to go out to your entire class. This feature is helpful for creating differentiation in work, as well as assigning work to small groups.


Step 1: Create a new assignment, announcement, or question in your Google Classroom
Step 2: Click All students to select which students you would like your assignment, announcement, or question to go to
Step 3: By default, the post is set to go to all students
Step 4: Select the students that you would like to receive this post
       
Step 5: Next, you can choose to publish the post immediately, or schedule the post for a later day/time
